- Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help with some health conditions
- Contributes to overall health and well-being
- Supports brain health and cognitive function
Take this with a grain of salt (no pun intended). I’m not a health professional, but with more research, you can learn how turmeric helps with your health, and how it can be incorporated in other foods.
Certain fish also have many health benefits including:
- Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins
- Heart and brain health
- Can lower blood pressure
- Lean protein
What kinds of cuisines is turmeric used in most?
Turmeric is used in way more types of cuisines than people probably realize. Some include:
- Indian cuisine (curries and dal, for example)
- Southeast Asian (Indonesia, Malaysian)
- Moroccan, (tagine, for example)
- Caribbean (Trinidad, Guyana)
Due to its color and taste, it’s quite versatile and can be incorporated in MANY different dishes. A staple spice in my pantry.
